DESCRIPTION
TECHNE is a twist of Japanese paper and ""Modal"" rayon which is made from wood pulp, the same raw material as paper. Modal which is produced by the Australian company, Lenzing AG, is a cellulose fiber that uses an ecological standard manufacturing method without any environmentally burdensome chemicals. From wood to material, the entire cellulose production process is supervised.
Modal has the functionality and beauty of rayon, and it can be washed with water. By combining paper and Modal, this material has the firmness of paper with the beautiful Modal drape yet is suitable for hand washing.
