Each season at MONTELUCE starts with a collaborative effort across the company, driven by our yarn team’s passion for developing new collections.
Combining the expertise, experience, and creativity of specialists in yarn development, fabric design, and product design, each collection is born through a collaborative process that spans roughly six months of preparation.
The theme of MONTELUCE’s 26-27AW Collection is "Seasonal Twist."
With the effects of global warming shortening the winter season and bringing about milder winters—now a familiar pattern—the impact of these seasonal shifts on fashion has become a growing focus, not only in Japan but globally.
Building on that foundation, this season we took a new approach—intentionally moving away from the traditional concept of “season.”
Our collection focuses on seasonless materials and enhanced alternatives to wool and animal fiber’s hairy textures.
